NOTICE OF 2022 PROPERTY TAXES
The 2022 Escambia County real estate and tangible personal property tax rolls, which include the City of Pensacola, Town of Century, Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, Downtown Improvement Board, District School Board, Escambia Children’s Trust, Northwest Florida Water Management District, and the Municipal Service Taxing Units for the Sheriff and Library, have been delivered by the property appraiser to the tax collector and are open for collection November 1, 2022.
DISCOUNT FOR EARLY PAYMENT
The 4% discount for early payment will be allowed through November 30, 2022. After that date, discounts will be 3% in December, 2% in January, and 1% in February. Gross taxes are due in March 2023, and taxes become delinquent on April 1, 2023. Discounts are determined by postmark of payment. When a discount period ends on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the discount period will be extended to the next business day for walk-in customers only.
You may pay your taxes and check the status of your accounts on our website at EscambiaTaxCollector.com. Payments are accepted online, by mail, or phone. If coming in person, please use our convenient drop box or drive thru. If you do not receive your tax bill by November 12, or if you have any additional questions, please send an email inquiry to ectc@EscambiaTaxCollector.com.
