We are excited to announce the one-year anniversary of the Warrington Tax Collector’s office at 4051 Barrancas Avenue, Suite A.
During the past year, the 9,500 square foot office, has issued 5,075 driver licenses and 598 identification cards; administered 1,846 exams; processed 2,214 concealed weapons license applications; and handled over 38,150 vehicle and vessel registrations and titles with an operating staff of 16 people.
“It is hard to believe that we have been open for twelve months,” Holley stated. “We are proud of our Warrington office and pleased that we have such a wonderful location to serve the citizens on the west side of the county.”
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is plenty of free parking and a 24-hour drop box. Services requiring appointments include concealed weapons license applications and full service driver license, including driving tests, non-U.S. citizens, and medical exams. Walk-in services include motor vehicle and vessel registration and titles, hunting and fishing licenses, property taxes and business tax receipts.
We also offer a more convenient way to wait in line for walk-in services. Customers can text an office location to join a line immediately. With this system, customers can check in from anywhere. While texting your place in line does not make an appointment, it does eliminate the need for sitting in crowded lobbies. Customers will receive status updates and be able to request additional time, if necessary.
