Are you a homeowner facing foreclosure? You may be eligible for relief through the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO).
According to DEO, Florida’s HAF program mitigates financial hardships associated with the COVID-19 pandemic by preventing homeowners’ mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, and displacements, as well as loss of utilities, home energy services, and insurance. HAF is a federally funded program established under Section 3206 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
Eligible homeowners could receive assistance with mortgage payments, utilities, homeowner and condominium association fees, homeowners insurance, internet services, and property taxes.
