Some individuals may qualify for issuance of a reduced fee ID card with proof of enrollment in the Department of Children and Families’ Automated Community Connection to Economic Self Sufficiency (ACCESS) Florida Benefits Program.

A benefits letter from DCF, clearly displaying an expiration date, dated within the past 12 months may be used to prove eligibility. The benefits letter must show that the recipient is receiving benefits at the time of the application for the identification card.  If the customer is under the age of 18 and qualifies under parent’s eligibility, the parent will need to be present with photo identification and benefits letter naming them as a dependent. The address displayed on the identification card will correspond with the address listed on the parent’s benefit letter.
